John Kean
John Kean is from Wimbledon but has lived and worked in the Egyptian Red Sea as a professional dive trainer and writer for over fifteen years. He is the published author of the definative SS Thistlegorm book, writer and section editor of Sharm’s leading magazine MIX and a regular feature writer for UK diving magazines. John’s diving qualifications are extensive and he holds instructor ratings with four agencies including Master Instructor with PADI and Trimix Instructor with TDI. He works for the Sinai Blues Diving Centre at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sharm but also lectures, gives seminars at dive shows and escorted wreck trips in the Northern Red Sea for Sea Queen Fleet.
